PrintWeek Awards 2022: Ocean’s Deep Printers wins Packaging Converter of the Year (PaperBag / Textile)

The company submitted a range of products produced for the textile segment. It included a paper bag, two catalogues, and a set of tags.

Not only did Ocean’s triumph in this new category of Awards, but the company also received good feedback from the judges. “Amazing and outstanding quality finishing” said one judge in praise. Ocean’s was obviously in total control of all its processes: printing, which was done on Heidelberg SM 72 press; design produced in-house, finishing with velvet lamination and Scodix digital embellishing machine; and die-cut to perfection. 

The paper bag produced for Gujarat Garment Manufacturers Assocation had a run of 900 pieces and was finished on the Scodix machine. The silver embossed foiled bag enhanced with a contrast colour thread made it an attractive takeaway for visitors of the exhibition. All the sublime textile tags adorned with metalised printing had a conspicuous shine, digitally die-cut, all executed faultlessly.

The Fabrika catalogue, a four-colour printed product had thermal velvet lamination, and UV with foil embossing. A fashion show catalogue with exclusive print design, was made more unique with the Scodix foiling and textured UV embossing, said the company.
