He added, “Single use packaging is the segment that needs more work to do upon keeping sustainability goals in front. But only packaging industry cannot do wonders, it is the mindset of people which will drive the change.”
He feels, all packaging professionals must use ArtiosCad from Esko and their feature of creating animations in it. He said, “It saves a lot of time while explaining the concept to the customers and counterparts in the team.”
Thakur visited SSF Plastics, the company where he did his internship during the final year. He said, “I was fascinated by the injection-moulding and blow-moulding technology. I worked closely with the production team to understand the machine and its function. I was blown away when I got to know how slight changes in different parameters affect your output and what it takes to identify those flaws and correct them.”
His favourite packaging is, alcohol packaging. He said, “It drives me crazy, especially when it is branded alcohol which wants to deliver an experience instead of just a product.”
