The seductive beauty of Kashmir is a calming and mesmerising experience to the eyes and psyche alike. Two photo albums on Kashmir produced using the Canon ImagePress C8000VP press have photographs that evoke deeper memories and emotions; and tell greater stories.
Avantika used Adobe InDesign and Enfocus PitStop software for data handling and cross-checking to make the pictures print-ready. It used the EFI colour profiler suite with ES-600- for colour consistency. The judges were impressed by the “skillful use of subtle colours, which enhanced the photo albums and added a unique personality to them”.
The other two photo albums – Faith Kumbh Book and Bonsai Journey Towards Tranquility too were works which impressed the judges. The latter, a hardbound with a jacket that was given a UV touch, came for special mention. Judges said, “It guaranteed intensity to the photo album.” Avantika deployed the same software and colour profiler used for the Kashmir photo albums, for these two photo albums too.
The run length ranged from 50 to 100 books, using 170gsm to 200gsm Magno matt paper from Bilt Graphic Paper Products, with Avantika designing three of the four photo albums.
