Headquartered in Mumbai, TCPL Packaging has now ventured into the flexible packaging industry, capable of producing printed cork-tipping paper, laminates, sleeves, and wrap-around labels.

TCPL Packaging wins PrintWeek Company of the Year

The company announced that it has achieved a significant milestone during the year. The overall net worth during this period has increased by 29.56%.

In 2021-22, TCPL was in the news for the investments made in the TCPL flexible plants in Silvassa, TCPL Innofilms (a wholly-owned subsidiary) trial production of its polyethylene (PE) blown film line at Silvassa. During the year, TCPL commercialised its new MDO PE film line and capacity expansion in the flexible packaging business, focusing on sustainable packaging solutions. TCPL has decided to expand the plant by adding one more production line.

TCPL’s growth segment during 2022-23 has come from a range of packaging applications. Besides flexible packaging, it is in mono-cartons, fluted cartons, shelf-ready or display packaging, blister cards, paper cups, among others. It acquired a majority stake in Creative Offset Printers Private Limited (COPPL) for the manufacturing of rigid boxes and leaflets,

TCPL has maintained a steady growth since inception in 1990. The company has grown more than ten times in size and achieved a total revenue of Rs 1,485 crores in 2022-23. The Kanoria family holds a 55.74% stake in the company.

It operates multiple manufacturing units situated at Haridwar, Silvassa, Goa, Guwahati, and Greater Noida. In FY22, TCPL set up a subsidiary company in UAE called TCPL Middle East FZE, as well as a marketing office in Dubai.
