PrintWeek Awards 2024: Lipi International wins Green Company of the Year SME

Lipi International has supported its commitment to environmental care with an extension to its solar panel array. Over the past three years, solar panels installed at Lipi International have yielded 1.79-gigawatt hours in energy. It aims to cut annual power consumption and reduce its carbon footprint.

Nagpur-based Lipi has adopted water resource management in a phased manner and is pleased with the outcome. Its belief? Small things maketh a green plant. Consider this — 15,000-litres of water from an RO softener plant are recirculated in the consumption system daily.

Lipi International has an ISO 22000-2015 certification from TUV-SUD. The company is also certified by the FSC, and its BRC certification is in process. It is an important print and packaging unit in Central India.

All this, and much more, makes Lipi International the Green Company of the Year.
