PrintWeek Awards 2024: Quarterfold Printabilities wins Book Education Company of the Year

The numbers were staggering last year when the Navi Mumbai headquartered company won the Award for being the Export Company of the Year. A 2,00,000-sqft factory, that prints 52-million books. Last year it shipped 700 containers of education books to 18 countries.

This year, in addition to its export clout, the young company has become a go-to for education books. Today, Quarterfold boasts three factories and one fulfilment centre (18,000-sqft). This infrastructure creates books of all shapes and sizes, including textbooks, activity books, colouring books, notebooks, and stationery.

What sets the company apart is how it has ensured the delivery of 800 containers of education books across the globe. This is part of a project backed by the World Bank, UNESCO and the UN.

All of this calls for a systematic approach that works across different types and sizes of books, and understanding the challenges of international publishing. It also calls for mastering the art (and science) of content creation, paper handling, printing, and the latest binding methods.
