The Replika factory (across three units, and one more where the factory work is in progress) handles 35,000-metric tonnes of paper stock annually and produces 80,000 hard case books and 150,000 soft case books daily. The target is 2,25,000 books.
A majority of the copies are for the high-profile exports segment.
The group boasted of a turnover of Rs 22-crore two decades ago. In twenty years, it was Rs 644-crore. Speaking about exports, Bhuvnesh Seth, the managing director of Replika says, “Our focus on the Make in India strategy has significantly increased our export business from Rs 118-crore five years ago to Rs 333-crore last year.”
The target is Rs 400-crore for this year. That too, with the humble but beautiful book. There is no wonder Replika Press is the winner in this category.
