PrintWeek Awards 2024: Silverpoint Press wins Brochure & Catalogue Printer of the Year (Joint Winner)

The winner of Book Printer of the Year 2023 (Education) and Book Print of the Year 2023 (Print on Demand - POD), Silverpoint Press takes a Prism home on the strength of its premium brochures and catalogues.

The samples were printed on a Heidelberg machine and then treated with different post-press enhancements. They were printed with a standard density to produce high-quality colour depth.

2,000 copies of the Birla Niyaara brochure for Century Estate came in a copper-plated case that was etched. The other features of this brochure included back-to-back pasting, debossing and a gatefold.

15,000 copies of the GM LED Pricing Manual featured a gatefold with spot matt-laminated embossing, silver foil stamping, and satin aqueous coating. The copies were section-sewn and perfect-bound.

The cover of the Johnson Elite Plus Collection catalogue (with a print run of 7,400) featured raised spot UV. Spot UV was used inside too, on 70 pages, and satin aqueous coating was used throughout.

1,000 copies of the Vivarea brochure were pasted back-to-back. Along with satin aqueous coating, 24 pages have silver foil stamping. The cover has debossing and spot UV.
