The samples showcase Thomson’s ability to produce limited copies of big books (which would otherwise require long-run offset printing and time-consuming post-press operations) on digital presses with a shorter turnaround time.

25 copies of 1,788-page Mergers et al by S Ramanujam for LexisNexis was printed on 60-gsm super fine NS paper. The job was done on a Canon OCE VP 330. The book contains gold foiling and a hardcase roundback. The cover uses maroon PVC material.

60 copies of The Oxford Encyclopaedia of the Music of India were produced. This three-volume box set was created for the Oxford University Press. Post-press processes involved hot silver foil stamping, embossing, aqueous coating, and die-cutting on the slipcase — all giving the box set a premium feel.

50 copies of the Big Shared Reading Book were printed in the A2 size for Creoville. The copies were printed on a Xeikon press using 80-gsm Bilt matt AP paper. Post-press work included manual side sewing with hard case binding. It was a challenging project to print digitally owing to its size.

100 copies of the Zeiss Product Catalogue clip folder for Carl Zeiss India were printed on a Canon. Its complex fabrication made it a challenge to be produced digitally. Its core feature was spot UV and loop binding apart from hardcase binding for the outer cover.
