PrintWeek Awards Jury Day scheduled for 28 September
PrintWeek Awards' Jury Day is scheduled for 28 September (Wednesday) at the Hilton Sahar. It will be a full-day event; with an elite panel of 25 jury members who will judge the Awards. Noel D'cunha, managing editor of PrintWeek said, "We’re pleased to announce that the Printweek Awards has entries from more than 116 print and packaging companies across the country."

25 jury members will pore through thousand entries and discuss their choices with fellow jurists all of whom are impassioned creatives and leaders in their fields. PrintWeek Awards is the only awards which evaluates four samples in each category; so the jurists can look a body of work during the year as a benchmark, plus award points for pioneering work and innovations.
D'cunha said, "The PrintWeek Awards are designed to recognise excellence and innovation, because regardless of the economic ups and downs, the industry’s need to applaud and celebrate its successes is constant."
In 2022, there are 14 Quality Categories and five Special Covid Awards. Plus 10 Performance Categories which will be evaluated and audited on the basis of their financial balance-sheet.
Kalpak Shah, senior executive, awards and events said, "The jury day is an exciting event for the team. I have been ably supported by five SIES GST students who have helped me in briefing the print and packaging converters plus soliciting the award entries." Shah added, "As in every edition, all print jobs will be coded and the identity of the company will be kept a secret."
The Awards Night is scheduled for 2 November. The venue is: Grand Hyatt, off the Western Express Highway, Santacruz East in Mumbai.
D'cunha said, "The industry should not pass up this golden opportunity to celebrate to the firms and creators and their team who are not just driving print forward, but also driving the success of the industry's business and customers’ businesses."
