Noel D’Cunha of PrintWeek, said, “The PrintWeek team has a well defined process for selecting the panellists, usually comprising of print customers, creative designers and packaging experts, in order to analyse the samples with a broader and out-and-out perspective.”
This year, PrintWeek received over 200 entries for the Awards. The PrintWeek India Awards is divided into two segments – Performance Awards (seven categories) and Quality Awards (seventeen categories).
The judging process will be followed by an interactive session – InnerCircle. It enables jury members having expertise in print and designing to interact and understand each other’s works.
The InnerCircle discussions will look at the post-consumer packaging which is cited as the biggest hurdle in recycling and meeting EPR goals, and how packaging can preserve food and reduce food waste, among other similar topics.
At the previous Jury Day in 2018, Janak Bhatt, CEO and creative director at Pristine Ideas, who will also participate in this year’s event, said, “The InnerCircle discussions had a great format. It was truly enriching. We need the InnerCircle kind of discussions to push us and help embrace the industry. I think PrintWeek is doing a fantastic job.”
PrintWeek Awards Night will be hosted on 2 December 2019 at Hotel Sofitel in Mumbai.
