PrintWeek India Awards 2018: Parakh Agro is the Packaging Converter of the Year (Flexible)
Pune-based Parakh Agro won the category during the 10th edition of the Awards held in Mumbai on 29 November 2018.

The Casino Bio is an export job for France, for a brand called ‘Casino Bio’, meaning that the product inside is organic. To reflect this, background of the product is green. It is printed on 20 matt BOPP laminated with 20 metalised BOPP on a Miraflex wide-web CI flexo press. It’s an eight-colour job and the print was challenging in terms of matching the shades on the matte film.
Carrefour Chips is a 20 clear BOPP laminated with 20 metallised BOPP job. The package with eight colours was printed on Miraflex. The background of the design is in process colour combination.
The highlight of the second Carrefour Chips sample, with the run length of 1 MT, is the red background with gradation of black on it. It was a challenge to print the white product with details.
The Mamypoko is printed on 60 mic white PE, made on three layer blown film line on F&K Bobst wide-web CI flexo machine. Pre-press involves Esko Workflow and the plates are DuPont Easy. The 113lpi, eight-colour job used ink from Siegwerk and the adhesive used is environment friendly.
