Many Moons for Himatsingka Seide, with a run length of 400, is a book about textiles, comprising close up shots of fabrics. Thus, CTP output is 300dpi to capture the details and it’s printed on a Komori Lithorne G40. For binding, the customer wanted its own woven silk cloth with metal thread. Pragati had to experiment with multiple glues as metal thread doesn’t stick well to board. The job also involved laser-cutting on a page, plus die-cutting and foil on dust jacket. The book was printed on 160gsm Renoir for inner pages and specialty black paper for jacket and endpaper.
Anything but Ordinary for APJ Surendra Park Hotels, with a run length of 2,000, is printed on a Komori Lithrone G40 seven-colour with coater press. The CMYK plus fluorescent pink 805C job features hardcase binding with two different paper type sections and a tracing paper sleeve. The cloth-covered case has intricate edge-to-edge debossing making the sample look anything but ordinary.
