PrintWeek India Awards 2018: Veepee Graphic Solutions is Pre-Press Company of the Year

Last year, Bengaluru-based Veepee Graphic Solutions became the first Indian company to invest in an Esko CDI Crystal 5080 imager, the technology that Esko introduced at Drupa 2016. Did the investment help VeePee clinch the title? Perhaps not, as the company, established in 1996, is already a leader in the field.

Jaichandra, the managing director, is a business management graduate with a degree in printing technology, and he has more than 20 years of experience in flexo pre-press. A thinking technocrat, he is also responsible for technical support, finance and future investment plans of the company. And all of it, shows. When it started, Veepee was among the handful of trade shops in the country to have CTF (computer to film) and infrastructure to process wide-format conventional flexo plates. Then in 2002, it became the first in the industry to invest software for high-end flexo pre-press.

And the numbers for the year 2017-18, shared by the company, reveal the rest of the story, as our auditors found the company’s balance sheet to be better performing than the other contenders in this category.
