PrintWeek India Awards to be aired on NDTV Profit

“Into its fifth year, PrintWeek India Awards has been a platform for showcasing the best in the Indian print. Now, for the first time, we will be capturing the honour received by the best and the brightest of the Indian print industry for a telecast,” said Suresh Ramakrishnan, publishing director at Haymarket Media India, the publisher ofPrintWeek India.

The last five years has been a great race for PrintWeek India, promoting print through every possible media, electronic included. It has used its website for e-bulletins, newsletters a​nd picture galleries which showcases the strengths of print companies.

During the Awards event, PrintWeek India will be showcasing the award winning as well as the commendable entries. “This is much more than an Awards Night, we want the viewers to appreciate that. They will get to see and know the print managers and also get a sense of the quality of print that the Indian print companies are producing,” said Nydia Dias, group head for marketing, Haymarket Media India. “Through this effort, we are creating an awareness, rising much beyond the level of electronic and are acting as a helpful interface between print buyer and print companies.”

The 2012 Awards saw 24 worthy winners receive the coveted Prism.  On the Award 2013 night, an august line-up of big-name print VIPs will attend the evening.​ ​

Besides applauding Performance Awards and Quality Awards winners, the room of 350 delegates will be celebrating print on Gandhi Jayanti.
