The second webinar marks a continuation of the first successful webinar hosted by PrintWeek India in partnership with Infor on 29 August, 2013. The webinar on “Enhancing project profitability”  saw more than 60 attendees participate online to discuss enterprise resource planning solution for printing, packaging and the publishing industry.

The feedback and encouragement received from our first attempt at a webinar and on the topic addressed has enthused both the partners to create a follow up event with a different target group in order to spread better awareness of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) and its organisation-wide benefits.

According to PrintWeek India, “The second webinar is aimed at the packaging and publishing businesses and will discuss how a seamless information flow across the organisation can give businesses the much needed impetus for all round growth.” The one-hour session will include a brief information on ERP by Infor, after which questions from the participants will be taken and discussed. PrintWeek India will moderate the session.

Infor is one of the largest provider of multi-domain enterprise application solution launched their printing and publishing solution for general availability in mid-2012. “The Printing Estimating Workbench” a key feature in the solution takes every miniscule factor (weight of the paper, the length, the width, the number of sections, the number of holes, die-cutting etc) into account to build a routing and bill of material for an estimate print job to the extent of even ink and oil requirements.
