PrintWeek India and Spatial Access join hands

With a week to go for the PrintWeek Awards entry deadline and the Jury Day just around the corner, PrintWeek India has announced its association with Spatial Access, India’s first production and marketing services audit firm.

For the starts, Spatial Access will be instrumental in bringing some of the top marketeres on the jury panel of PrintWeek India Awards 2014.

Geetanjali Bhattacharji, CEO, Spatial Access, said, “Spatial Access has been at the forefront of change in measuring media and marketing effectiveness. We have launched a service for measuring media and marketing effectiveness, which ensures accountability and transparency to marketers across print production, adfilms and BTL."

Spatial Access offers a platform for leading marketers to review production wins. On a quarterly basis the firm will share a report card of the industry with PrinWeek India subscribers, its associated printers and print buyers. The report is a collation of reviewed audits of the firms.

This association, according to Ramu Ramanathan, group editor of Haymarket Media India (PrintWeek India and Campaign India), is an opportunity to create a platform between the printers and the print buyers. “Together with Spatial Access, we intend to create and enhance the engagement of the printers with their buyers. This means, the gap between the industry requirements and its service providers will be bridged."

Bhattacharji added, "This is the first step. In our eight years, w ehave found that finding a production partner is a matter of referral not selection.The first and most obvious lacuna in the print industry is the absence of a platform where all kinds of print-production experts can share their work and their wins. It doesn’t matter how big you are or at what price you work – what matters is what you do and how relevant it is to the brief or the requirement on hand."
