Autoprint has achieved a milestone in the offset and allied machinery segment with the completion of 10,000 installations. The 10,000th machine sold from this Coimbatore-based manufacturer's stable is a Dion 450+, which has been sold to a printer in Lucknow. Autoprint will commemorate this milestone by honouring its 10,000th machine owner today (24 April, 2015) at Hotel Residency in Coimbatore.

Speaking of Coimbatore , there is more news. The HP Indigo 7800 digital press, a HP Indigo 7000 series digital press, which replaced the 7600, was launched in June 2014 at Dscoop Asia. And, though it was showcased for the first time in India at CEIF 2015, Coimbatore-based Glo Digital has already become the first to commission the 7800 in India.
 
The Epson SureColor SC-F7100 is a purpose-built textiles machine with roll-to-roll textile printer that jets water-based dye-sublimation inks from piezo-electric printheads. Officially launched at Ipex last year, this 64inch-wide (1.6m) device is aimed at textile producers who print complete rolls of cloth that will then be made up into garments, soft furnishings, soft signage, banners, flags and the like.
 
The Horizon RD-4055 is ideal for commercial printers who can deploy this rotary die-cutting system. This means, the rotary die-cutter uses magnetic metal dies for cutting and creasing. An optional stripping unit means finished products can be taken off the delivery for shipping or folding and gluing.
 
The Samed Photofast which can be deployed for creating automatic back to back pasted albums and books. This kit is being installed at Venus Albums in Amritsar. The engineer from Samed Italy is in India ​working alongside Parag Shah’s Hi Tech Systems team, who represent the Italian firm in India.
