Amol Paranjape, senior creative director for production and studio at JWT, said, “Print has evolved and the technology has changed. Personally, it was an eye opener for me. I had heard of paper printing but printing on all the substrates other than paper was something new for us.”
The group of 25 print professionals visited both the units of Spectrum Scan in Vasai and were thrilled to see, a 2,500 sq/ft unique 'experience lounge' - a 2,500 sq/ft ‘Bazaar’ of POP and POS items.
Vikrant Deshmukh, marketing manager at ETP International and one of the participants, said, “This experience lounge gives total experience of bazaar which includes kirana shops, paan kiosks, ice-cream parlours, and a supermarket at one go, and so, brands can have a real look and feel of their POP items.”
WTPP is a Mumbai-based club formed by group of print production professionals. Till date the club has organised five events.
Hemant Randive of WTPP, said, “We got good response for the treasure hunt. The next phase is to organise a Print Yatra with PrintWeek India. We will visit three printing units in Mumbai.” WTTP was a partner during PrintWeek India's Print Fair in November which was hosted at the Max Mueller Bhavan in Mumbai.
