HD Flexo
Seeing is believing. Esko will be showing examples of full HD flexo for labels, delivering high quality with impactful solids, smoother highlights and expanded colour gamut.
Esko will be partnering with DuPont to showcase a full workflow, which will include an Esko CDI Spark 2530 flexo plate imager, Studio 16, DeskPack, ArtPro+ and Equinox.
Also check out Automation Engine’s new Device Manager module, where the Kongsberg tables and CDI flexo plate imagers are connected to, and integrated with the pre-press workflow. What this does is gives the pre-press department all the necessary information to prioritise and manipulate job queues to produce the right plate or cut the right job at the right time.
Memory Repro (Stall J31)
Flexo plate cleaning machine
Clean flexo plates “hands free”, says Memory Repro with its kit, which was launched at the last Labelexpo. Designed for cleaning both letterpress and flexo plates, the new offering at the show washes all types of ink, and the company claims, the kit is a unique combination of brushes, oscillating and fixed, which ensures 100% cleaning as well as reduces plate damage. Update Prints in Gurgaon, NAP Press in Kolkata and Skanem Labels in Baddi are some of the key installations.
New at Labelexpo India are the flexo plate cleaning machine with rotary brush, and flexographic pressroom trolleys to handle and store printing cylinder and anilox rollers.

Flexcel NX System
Kodak has a mantra of ‘Do more with less’. So it says, it does not have a single product on the stand, but a host of solutions in flexography, offset and inkjet. This includes equipment, consumables and workflow that are designed to meet and exceed brand expectations of tomorrow, while bringing tremendous benefit to the converters and printers.
With 22 installations, the Flexcel NX is by far the most popular piece of Kodak equipment in flexography. Officially launched in 2008, the Flexcel NX has evolved over the years. From mid-size to 42x50mm in 2010 to 50x80mm in 2014 to Flexcel NX System 16 and an option of high-resolution output at 4,600x9,600 dpi at Drupa 2016, Kodak says it has added more benefits to the customer, and kept in line with their mantra.
Lead Laser Printmaster hybrid laser engraver
Lead Lasers will focus on promoting its unique hybrid direct laser engraving machines Printmaster hybrid used to produce high-quality laser engraving on plates and sleeves ranging from 1 mm to 7,000 mm. The Hybrid can start with two small lasers for imaging flexo sleeves and plates up to 250 m2/year. By adding shifts and laser power capacity can increase to 8.000 m2.
