ProPak India 2019: Gandhi Automations to display door automation, loading bay solutions

This year, Gandhi Automations will be launching some upgraded products at ProPak India 2019. “We have made significant improvisations and innovations to our loading bay equipment range of products as well as high speed doors,” the company stated in a press release.  

The press note stated that the company’s industrial doors and loading bay solutions have been designed to work with its loading technology, creating a logistics solution that will ensure an efficient workflow throughout your facilities.

This year, the company will be displaying its high speed self-repairing doors, telescopic lip dock levelers, inflatable dock shelters, and prime freezer duo.

Prime Reset is the company’s high speed self-repairing door with the latest technology that prevents downtime of the door system. According to the company, in case the curtain is impacted accidentally it will cause the curtain to move out of the guides without damage. The movement of the door is designed in such a way it can be recovered with a simple opening and closing operation. The door comes with an anti-crash system.

The company claims that the telescopic lip dock levelers are able to overcome the problem with the gaps between the vehicle and loading bay. It is said to be perfect for joining trucks unable to drive close to dock.

Meanwhile, the company’s inflatable dock shelters are elastomeric tubes calculated to round out with the overview of a medium (usually air) to form a close-fitting barrier between a mounting and striking surface.

The company’s high-speed prime freezer duo helps maintain temperature and keep the operator safe. It is equipped with a revolutionary soft bottom edge and sensors to ensure operator safety at all times.

“Through ProPak India we would like to create and awareness and highlight the importance of entrance automation and loading bay automation that will help increase productivity, increase efficiency and save cost for players offering solutions across packaging solutions pertaining to products from medicines, cosmetics, appliances, industrial systems and machinery, among others,” the company stated.

Other products offered by Gandhi Automations include, high speed flexible doors, dock levelers, rolling shutters, fire rated rolling shutters, sliding doors, sectional overhead doors, hangar doors, shipyard doors, sliding gates, swing gates, and boom barriers.

According to the company, with the packaging and processing industry showing growth prospects up to USD 73 billion by 2020, the industry is forecasted to grow at 18%  annually (flexible packaging at 25% and rigid packaging at 15%). Increasing organised retail and the boom in e-commerce are also major growth drivers for the Indian packaging industry. Its exponential growth has resulted in thousands of packets being delivered every day across the country and this demands quality packaging of the products. Changing consumer lifestyles towards ready-to-eat products are driving growth of flexible packaging, with food itself accounting for 38% of the flexible packaging market.
