The third edition of ProPak India, a flagship event for the processing and packaging industry, has been postponed by a couple of months, the organisers announced. Initially scheduled from 8-10 October 2020, the show will now be held from 8-10 December 2020 at the same venue – Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The decision to reschedule the event was taken following long discussions with the industry stakeholders, partners and the local government pertaining to the disruption caused due to the pandemic. The show will continue to be co-located with Fi India and Hi.
"We believe that the new dates will allow more time for normality and confidence to return to the market and provide all-round better conditions for exhibitors and visitors to engage," the organiser, Informa Markets (formerly UBM), said in a notification shared with all its visitors and stakeholders.
Meanwhile, the organiser also announced that it would be introducing a virtual expo of ProPak India from 14-15 October 2020.
"If there’s one thing that doesn’t stop, it’s innovation. We’re proud to introduce ProPak India Virtual Expo, the next progressive step in our brand’s digital evolution," the notification stated. "It is designed to offer companies and professionals an online medium to continue business, view products, meet clients and potential customers, and stay up to date on the trends and technology."
