The event was postponed after the Maharashtra and Haryana state elections were declared on 21 October 2019. The organisers shared with PrintWeek India that the schedule was changed as exhibitors and visitors from Maharashtra and Haryana had to cast their votes, which could also affect the expected visitor turnout on Day 1 of the exhibition.
“To allow the exhibitors and visitors to perform their national duty and keeping in mind the business interest and convenience of all the stakeholders, we have strategically postponed the exhibition by a day,” stated a press release by the organisers.
Over 100 exhibitors from countries including Germany, Italy, China, Japan, Singapore would be showcasing their products and solutions for the processing and packaging market.
Co-located with ProPak India is Food ingredients India and Health ingredients India 2019, a business platform for food and beverage professionals in the region. A series of seminars will also take place on the sidelines of the expo.
