The company will be responsible for sale and after-sales services for brand new and used printing presses. The deal was inked on 1 July, 2012.

Vinay Kaushal and N Pradeep, the two partners in the new company, have a decade of experience in marketing and technical personnel in Proteck. Vinay Kaushal, director of Provin Technos, said, “Our current focus is on services and after-sales service instead of selling brand new printing presses because of very high value of Japanese Yen. Since we have been dealing with Mitsubishi from the years, we do not foresee any bottle-neck in understanding the policies, market and the customers’ demand.”

Provine Technos stepped in to the role after 14 years successful partnership of Mitsubishi with Proteck Machinery came to an end.  During its tenure as the distributor, Proteck installed more than 110 brand new printing presses in India.

The new dealer of Mitsubishi consists a team of 17 people; out of which 11 are service engineers and are based out of Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.

“We have full support from the Mitsubishi and its technical head Hiroto Sakamoto, who is in India for more than last two years. Being service-focused, we have plans to increase our service engineers’ team up to 18 from 11,” added by N Pradeep, director.

Pradeep feels that Provin Technos does not have to feel threatened from the current economic slowdown. “We entered in to the business when the market was bearish. Therefore we are confident that we will be able to handle all conditions and sail through them.”
