Among the three bookings, two belong to RMGT 36-inch 920 series. One is a simple four-colour and the other is four-colour perfector (2+2/4/0). The third belongs to RMGT 790 series. It is a six-colour with coater, with a print size of 23x31-inches.
“We are happy with the responses,” Vinay Kaushal of Provin Technos said. “With this, we have now 47 RMGT installations in India. Out of these, 29 machines are already up and running, six are being shipped in the next two months, and the rest will be shipped by the end of this calendar year.” In the last year alone, Provin sold 19 presses in India.
Of course, Drupa is on until 10 June and Kaushal is counting on more orders. “We are looking at double digit bookings at Drupa. We are hoping to make the total installation number in the upwards of 60 after the exhibition,” he said.
At Drupa 2016, RMGT’s theme is ‘Irodori: Colouring the world together.’ In Japanese, the word Irodori means colour.
At the exhibition, the Japanese manufacturer is highlighting three presses – RMGT 10, a 1050 mm offset press and RMGT 9, a A1-size offset press and the RMGT DP7, a B2-size liquid toner type digital offset press jointly developed with Miyakoshi Printing Machinery. The first two kits come with LED-UV curing units.
