PubliCon 2017 to focus on enabling the publishing sector
The seventh edition of PubliCon, an industry event targeted at publishers and authors, organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) will be held on 1 December, 2017 at FICCI, New Delhi.

According to Sumeet Gupta, senior director, FICCI, the programme has been designed to bring opportunities for publishers and authors from across platforms. “We have got enriched panels with extraordinary speakers joining from across publishing ecosystem,” said Gupta.
PubliCon 2017 will especially focus on enabling publishing sector by facilitating effective dialogue and debate over policy issues, addressing copyright issues, strategies for content monetisation across platforms, presenting international business opportunities for authors, translators, and illustrators, emerging marketing trends to empower publishers and authors.
One of the highlights of the event will be the keynote address by renowned Hindi author Surender Mohan Pathak on the future of Indian pulp fiction. A true Indian bestselling author, Pathank has written nearly 300 novels and all of them have proved to be popular.
