The conference will continue its focus on various aspects of the future of publishing in India, especially on the progress made within the ePublishing sector in India, and the evolution of Indian language publishing.
Through various formats such as panel discussions, workshops, and experience-sharing insight talks, the conference will expand the scope of discussions to include the concerns raised by businesses allied to publishing - businesses such as printing, design, and digital marketing.
New developments in publishing such as graphic book development and tighter printer-publisher coordination will also be addressed.
Speaking to Printweek India, Leonard Fernandes, co-founder of the conference, commented on the lack of platforms available to small and medium publishers and publishing-related businesses to air their concerns, stating that Publishing Next is taking steps to fill that gap.
The conference is particularly structured to give participants "face time" to allow them to network and explore areas of collaboration. It boasts of many businesses that were seeded during the conference and came to fruition soon after.
PrintWeek India has been a media partner for three editions of the conference.
