Pune’s National Adhesives promotes ‘go green’ idea
Pune-based National Adhesives is making the most of the opportunities of the Indiapack show and its current ‘go green’ motto.

In the industry for the last 25 years, with its product range of modified starches for the corrugation industry, the company has diversified its offering into special coating and adhesives.
“The most recent addition to our portfolio of coatings and adhesives are Hydra-Print, a print receptive primer; Hydra-Rez, a water repellent coating; Hydra-Print inkjet coatings; and OpaCoat, laser, matt and opaque coating. These are all environment-friendly products,” said Nilesh Agarwal of National Adhesives.
The product range is as old as three to four months, and according to Agarwal, the company has received good responses from the market as well as at the Indiapack show. “Customers are seeking eco-friendly solutions. More importantly, they are ready to pay for it. The number of customers seeking eco-friendly solutions is on the rise and will increase considerably,” Agarwal concluded.
