Pune’s Pratham to foray into the inspection systems market
Pratham Technologies’ plan for PrintPack is power-packed. It will launch three new products, which it claims will make the company a hottest destination for package printers at the show.

The new launches include Supersort 100% carton inspection system and offline inspection system for leaflets and cartons at the show plus Superforld outserts folding machine.
The Pune-based manufacturer has developed Supersort in collaboration with Vision Experts, Germany.
Speaking to PrintWeek India, Sham Desai, manager marketing, Pratham, said, “We are introducing unique illumination system and latest German software which will take care of most of the requirements of pharma and cosmetics industry.”
The system will be available in variety of models starting from single camera up to three cameras and from both front and back side.
Desai informed that the company has already received one order for this kit and the first installation is expected in February after the exhibition.
Pratham’s Superfold outsert system will also be available with all the accessories including parallel knife folding for last thick folds, pressing unit and taping machine. Pratham has recently installed one complete system, informed Desai.
Besides this it will showcase its offline inspection system which has seen more than 10 installations in India.
