Pune’s A Control P buys Ricoh Pro C9100
Last year, Pune-based A Control P invested in a Ricoh Pro C9100. According to Sachin Gandhi of A Control P, the real reason the company went for Ricoh, rather than other brand, was the company’s customer relationship and a belief in Ricoh technology and support from the Ricoh team.

Located in the main printing market in Pune, A Control P started its operations with a Xerox 5000 (RC) machine.
In 2013, the company purchased it first Ricoh kit, Ricoh Pro c651Ex. “We were satisfied with the quality and performance of the machine,” said Gandhi. “More so were our customers, because of its ability of textured prints.
Two years later, in 2015, A Control P added one more Pro c651EX for its unit located in the neighbouring Ahmednagar district.
Then last year, the company took a major leap with Ricoh Pro C9100.
According to Gandhi, the key factor in deciding on the investment was speed and media versatility. At 110ppm, the machine supports media to 400gsm duplex in variety of types — including PVC, texture, NT, stickers, etc. The machine can also print 13x27-inches duplex print.
A Control P mostly operates in retail and most of its business comes from walk-in customers. Besides the printing press, Gandhi also runs one of the largest paper suppliers in Pune, Gandhi Paper.
