Pune print CEOs discuss city’s print evolution at roundtable meet

Ten print CEOs of the Pune Press Owners Association (PPOA) with an interest in developments in the city’s print arena, gathered for a roundtable conference on 28 October, 2014 in the association’s office.

During the discussions, the print CEOs exchanged views on Pune’s print evolution, technology, administrative and cost management and above all, why cooperation among printers should an absolutely essential element if Pune’s print industry has to progress.

Girish Date, president PPOA and director at Ganesh Offset, Ravindra Joshi of United Multicolor Printers, Mandhar Ugar of Vikram Printers, Girish Rao of Akruti, Rahul Gadia, Shailendra Bhagwat ofPratiroop Mudran, Sanjay Kadam of Kadam Digital, Amit Bhide of KC Bhide Group, Alok Munot of Prahat Printing, Anil Joshi of K Joshi & Co took part in the roundtable discussion, which was coordinated by Noel D’cunha and Sachin Shardul of PrintWeek India.

“It was not only education, but an opportunity to brainstorm on crucial topics which affect our business,” said Date.

The Roundtable discussion will be featured in PrintWeek India’s 10 May, 2014 Issue, which is also the magazine’s Anniversary issue.
