Established in 2010, Samyak is a leading flexible packaging and label printer working in markers, such as food and drink, pet food packaging, barrier packaging, retort pouches, and packaging for pharmaceutical products.
With its corporate office at that heart of Pune, the company has a 30,000-sqft plant in Shirwal, near Pune, an area which is becoming a leading manufacturing hub of India for automotive and high-end engineering products. Thus, Samyak’s unique position of being close to the customer will help the business grow. An in-house design and pre-press team ensures complete control over the entire process to deliver consistent quality.
The Lombardi experience focuses on a high-tech narrow-web machine in a line destined for printers who look for high printing quality coupled with simple and fast job changeover. The company has paid main attention to these two aspects of flexographic printing: the quality of images (which is now almost up to offset printing) and the fast changeover of impression cylinders and ink rollers. The Lombardi press will enable Samyak to enter new fields of higher quality self-adhesive labels, wraparound, flexible films and shrink sleeves, stand up and retort punches, etc.
Rajendra Kothari, managing director, Samyak, said, “Vinsak took on the complete project as a turnkey, procured and installed the machines, and provided operator training to make us operative in the shortest possible time.”
With the new installation, Samyak wants to achieve customer satisfaction through quality packaging products, services and solutions, globally.
“We thank Rajendra Kothari for the confidence he reposed in Vinsak. We hope to continue to grow our relationship with them and support them in the growth story for many years to come,” Mohan Pailwan, general manager, Vinsak, said.
