Mahavir Chaougle, director, M Square Digital, said, “The machine can be handled by a single operator, which in turn helps in saving manpower. It is compact, but still provides a wide range of options for job handling. This is the reason why we opted for this machine."

The Canon C600 produces up to 60 prints per minute on a wide range of media. Major enhancements in the belt fusing technology allow printing of complex jobs, on uncoated stocks in particular. It can run at maximum speed on heavy stock up to 220gsm and produce duplex print jobs on 300gsm media.

The company’s future plans include setting up an in-house binding unit, which the company is currently outsourcing. Apart from the Canon C600, the company also houses a Fujifilm CTP system, a five-colour Komori 6060 and a Polar cutting machine.

At M Square Digital, 18 employees produce anything between 25 to 30 set of jobs on a daily basis, which include brochures, magazines and pamphlets.

“We are expecting a 60-70% growth after the installation of the Canon machine. We hope to get the complete ROI in one year,” concluded Chaougle.
