The students worked on the digital press with integrated systems, Curve4 software and EFI ES-6000 measuring systems. The project was supported by Himanshu Pandey, managing director, Avantika Printers.

According to a note shared with PrintWeek, the live project provided students with hands-on-experience on using the equipment, developing communication and critical thinking skills for problem solving.

The students also visited Paharpur 3P, a gravure converter from Uttar Pradesh, Afflatus Gravure in Noida, and Sakata Inx India in Bhiwadi to learn various ink testing methods required for end-use applications in flexible packaging.

Joshi and Pandey, both G7 experts, aided the students throughout their endeavours.
