QIPC announces six new orders for their colour register system
QI Press Controls (QIPC), the Dutch specialist in measurement and control systems announced six new orders from web offset clients keeping up the trend of a strong performance from the previous year where they installed 25 colour registration systems in the first six months.

The orders are for the company’s closed-loop colour register system mRC-3D colour register.
“It is a promising sign that existing clients are satisfied with our products and services and are looking add more of our products to their plants,” Vijay Pandya, managing director of QIPC-EAE India.
Out of the six, five orders are from Kolkata from Sristi Graphic, Darpan Conclave CDC Printers and NAP Printers.
“Prior to this, Sristi Graphic had no automated colour register whatsoever. Thanks to the exceptional collaboration we enjoy with Naph press, Sristi Graphic decided to approach us. They were quickly persuaded by the benefits of automation; waste savings and consistency of print quality,” said Pandya talking about the Sristi order which would also have Automatic Ink Mist Shield (AIMS) fitted.
Incorporated in 1996, QI Press Controls has grown into a global organisation with seven offices.
According to the company, the mRC-3D camera is the fastest in the world and can measure the paper web accurately independently of the focus distance and distortions in the paper web. This ensures a very short response time, as a result of which substantial savings can be achieved on paper insertion.
CDC Printers who had installed two of the devices last year have decided to equip their newly added extra printing tower on Manugraph Cityline press with the mRC-3D cameras for colour register control and automatic cut-off control.
Meanwhile, NAP Printers also with a Manugraph Cityline have ordered two mRC-3D colour register.
Darpan Conclave who as recent as January 2017 installed mRC-3D Colour register on its TPH Orient web offset press and are now adding two more of the device with an identical configuration for their new TPH Orient press.
Talking about the order from Darpan Conclave, Pandya said, “It is a promising sign that existing clients are satisfied with our products and services. Not only does that enhance our already established reputation, it also helps ensure that these companies will continue to invest in our systems.”
The sixth and final order is from Bhiwandi-based Print Plus for their Prakash Press.
