Speaking to PrintWeek India, Quadtech’s general manager, Hemant Desai, said, “This is a very important step forward in the field of colour measurement and control for the packaging industry. In fact, we had already an understanding till now to supply solutions together but now it is an official partnership.”
Established in 2001, ColorConsulting provides consultancy, training, products and testing for the graphic arts industry—including print buyers, traditional and digital printers, and ink and press manufacturers.
Carlo Carnelli, the owner of ColorConsulting, said, “Quadtech is smart enough to recognise the importance and power of combined expertise. ColorConsulting considered and approached multiple manufacturers, and found Quadtech to have the best technology and the deepest level of expertise. This is a perfect fit that will bring printers more than just equipment on press. Today more than ever, printers are seeking solutions, help, expertise.”
Together the two companies have developed Quadtech’s Color Quality Solution, which enables automatic sharing and processing of colour data between inline colour control and offline color measurement products.
Quadtech and ColorConsulting are exhibiting jointly (stand P21 R22) at Converflex 2015 in Milan, Italy, this week. They will showcase Color Quality Solution, Color Measurement System with SpectralCam, 100 percent Inspection System, Autotron 2600 with ClearLogic Register Guidance System, PDF Verification, and Waste Management System.
Quadtech president Karl Fritchen, said, “Gearing up for Drupa 2016, we’re very excited to bring options that don’t currently exist to the packaging and converting markets.”
