The company has installed a five-colour Komori Lithrone Super (LS) 529 press along with a set of secondhand Polar die-cutters, a new Graphica offline UV coater and a lamination machine.
S K Aggarwal, director at Quality said: "The investment is a strategic move to restructure process and put a lean manufacturing process and systems in place. We aim to specialise in printing and packaging."
The Komori LS 529 press is housed along with a two single-colour Dominant and Heidelberg, a set of four-colour Solna and Heidelberg in a newly constructed three storey building of 13,500 sqft area which is manned by 40 staff on its roster.
"I am glad to have a great machine under my hood but the real benefits will eventually come once the press runs at full speed, day and night," said Aggarwal.
The company has a turnover of Rs 3.5-cr per annum and hopes to achieve Rs 5-cr by next year.
