Raipur’s Digital Technology finds its niche with Ricoh kits
For Digital Technology, a digital print service provider based in Raipur, Chattisgarh, its real foray into digital printed started after it invested in two Ricoh kits — Ricoh Pro C9100 and Pro 8110. Both the machines were installed at the same time on 31 March 2017. Firoz Khan, who runs the firm with his partner Feroz Hussain, is especially gung ho about the Ricoh Pro C9100.

The speed of the Ricoh Pro C9100 is good, he said. “It is a versatile and robust printer and supports different types of media. This has helped us improve our application gamut. The power consumption of the machine is low compare to other brands. This has led to saving of electricity as well,” he added.
Khan and his partner ventured into the digital printing business five years back. Before that they were in the designing segment, where they felt the need of digital printing from volume to larger volumes.
Khan said before opting for Ricoh, the company was using another brand, where it faced challenges in media handling.
Digital Technology mainly caters to the requirements of Raipur city and prints variety of jobs like leaflets, brochures, business cards, visiting cards, specialty papers, NTR, etc.
About the Ricoh Pro C9100, Khan said he is impressed with the machine’s capacity to print 13x27-inch size. He is also impressed with its imposing software, external fiery and double toner supply system.
“The machine helps us print smaller volumes to larger volumes without any tension. Paper jamming happens rarely. Service is up to the mark. I am satisfied with the cooperation of the Ricoh team,” Khan said.
