It was a moment that the print industry spotted. When Amitabh Bachchan asked the question in his deep baritone, As per government survey, which award did Indore win from 2017 to 2022 consecutively for six years?

The options were: Option 1: Cleanest Shaher; Option 2: Sukha Shaher; Option 3: Tez Shahar: Option 4: Humble Shaher.

Rajesh Malhotra was the first to hit the button with the correct answer: Cleanest Shaher (clean city).

When PrintWeek spoke to Malhotra, he was ecstatic. He said, "The shoot experience was fantastic. The KBC crew needs a special mention for their courtesy and politeness. They made the audience feel very comfortable." Malhotra added, "I have attended many shows and exhibitions but this was par excellence. The briefing to the audience was absolutely immaculate, every detail was explained in detail. "I am yet to come across such an experience."

When prodded further, he explained, "When the audience members were asked to enter the studio it was not in herds. Groups of people were taken inside the studio and were made to sit as per the colour of their dress so that two similar colors or shades were not sitting together, this was to make them visually colourful."

His experience with the KBC host was "surreal". Malhotra said, "He was crystal clear in his speech and spoke to me extremely well." He added, "No one is allowed near him because of health safety measures, so he decided to go to each cluster to chat with them and take a selfie." These will be uploaded soon.

Malhotra said, "The USP of KBC is Amitabh Bachchan. His persona, his poise, his clarity and his ability to connect with each contestant is praiseworthy. I have yet to come across a person at the age of 81 years to be so energetic who starts the shoot at 8.00 am and goes on past midnight, with the same energy and poise."

Other than being awestruck, Malhotra picked important lessons from the show. He said, "Customer first is the lesson." He said, "However big a star Amitabh Bachchan is, he values the audience and he values them because of them. In our briefing by the floor director that no one can come close to him or touch him because of his health reasons. Bachchan told him if they can't come to me I will go with them. This is the kind of commitment our industry needs."
