Rajkot’s Fast Color Lab buys Ricoh

With this installation, done by Monotech Systems, the company aims to add value to its poster and commercial printing business.

Jay Kanani, partner, Fast Color Lab, said, “Our existing setup was ready for an upgrade, and we were exploring options for a new press. Finally, we opted for the Ricoh Pro C7200X press as it has a fifth colour station that gives us the flexibility to go beyond the regular CMYK. Moreover, Ricoh offers the latest technology and it is backed by Monotech’s support, which is the best in the industry.”

Established in 2006, Fast Color Lab is run by partners, Jay Kanani and Bhavesh Kagathara, in a 2,000-sqft. The company’s post-press department houses equipment such as lamination, die-cutting, creasing, and digital paper cutting. 

The digital printer, which has a customer based in the entire state of Gujarat, said it has doubled its production since the installation of the Ricoh C7200X.

“We believe in offering value-added services. With the Ricoh C7200X, we will be able to offer fast production, high printing quality and embellishments with high print volumes. We see a marked growth in the business through this investment, as we can now offer premium printing services.” Kanani added.

The Ricoh Pro C7200X Graphic Arts Edition delivers high image quality, oversize print options and diverse media choices.
