Redlands Machinery opens manufacturing facility in Coimbatore

Thrissur, Kerala-based Redland Machinery made a comeback to PrintExpo with a range of finishing products and most importantly announced their big ‘Make in India’ plans with the opening of their factory in Coimbatore in February.

“We introduced our manufacturing plant and its possibilities in February at PrintPack and we are excited about the response we have been getting,” said Babu P, marketing manager of Redland Machinery.

The company has fulfilled 10 orders from South India and have had orders from Africa and Dubai executed at the factory in seven months’ time.

“We have brought a range of equipment to the show which includes our latest partnership with Korean-based Ritzjet three-in-one printer which does UV, spot UV and foil printing, which we have been successful in the African and Middle East market with seven installations so far in those regions,” said Babu.

 


Mohr cutting machine on display at Redlands stall

The company had several machines on display including Japanese Uchida cutting machine and their own Champion CWF 160 pocket envelope making machine.

“We have also had very good success with Petratto commercial folder-gluer from Italy with over five installations in India so far, with the recent installation completed at Lovely Offset,” he added.

The company has over 50 installations of Petratto in Dubai.

“We are currently looking into adding more capabilities to our factory and be able to produce the different type of machinery like foil stamping machine etc.,” concluded Babu.
