Taking about the investment, Sanjay Nahar, partner, Reegal Industries, said, “The notebook industry in India is growing at 20% per annum and to be equipped to cater to the growing demand we invested in the machine in October 2016. This investment has doubled our capacity, which has resulted in increased market share for us.”

RB Bolt104 has a straight and smooth workflow for production and has a centralised system and faster change adjustments. The machine can run up to a speed of 300 meters per minute and has a printing width of 400mm to 1030mm and length of 290mm to 450mm.

Reegal converts around 35 tonnes of paper per day, of which, 13tonnes is converted with Bolt RB104.

Nahar added, “Earlier with the semi-automatic machine, we would require 60 people for the notebook making process. With this machine, the manpower requirement has reduced from 60 to 6 persons. In addition to this, the space required is less and the work in process inventory has gone down drastically.”

Established in 1997, Reegal Industries caters to the notebook industry in Maharashtra, which according to Nahar is a 700-crore market. The manufacturing facility is spread over 60,000sq/ft area and produces notebook under brand names Cosmos, Silver, Supernova among others.
