Pooja Panchal of Reifenhauser, said, “Being a complex, dynamic and fast growing industry, it demands for innovative and high quality production. Label printers use many technologies to add more value to the labels. We will provide latest technologies to increase efficiency, high productivity and easy adaptability. Being the tremendous response receiver, we pulled our socks to promote all of our products and meet customer expectations at Labelexpo India 2012. Technical heads from each company will answer a technical query, this year.”
One of Reifenhauser's focus areas is: anti-counterfeiting and security solutions for the industry along with a new full proof digital printing for labels and other substrates.
“A digital printing press for labels is an advance opportunity for growth, as it enables brand owners to realise mass variation at reduced costs. Durst, the UV inkjet digital printing will provide the best result in forthcoming days for pharmaceutical packaging, on alu-blister foil printing, all type of labels, printing on pre die-cut labels and variable data printing,” she added.
Panchal felt, “The label market is growing by 15% to18% from the last two years. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) will allow the growth of the international business in India at the rate of more than seven percent annually. Small converters will be able to grow substantially because of the coming opportunities. She added, "Many more alliances will happen. This will drive the demand for packaging not only in volumes but also in quality."
