Kulkarni apart from being the founder and chairman at Pune Vidyarthi Griha (PVG) was also known for his contribution in print education.
During a meet hosted last year in November, the trustees of Mudran Maharshi announced the alliance of Mudran Maharshi and Pabha Kulkarni Pratishthan Trust. This Trust aimed to recognise the students with special ability and award them with a scholarship program in printing.
On 25 August, 2015, Bipin Kulkarni, chairman, welcomed the guests and shared the objectives of the foundation. The educational scholarship of Rs 5000 was awarded along with scholarship certificates to the students with good academic records.
Four stalwarts from the education and printing fields Sarvashri Pandit, Vasantrao Gadgil, J G Phagare and N S Mujumdar were felicitated. Career guidance topic was highlighted by Nitin Vani who shared the latest developments in the printing industry.
Kulkarni said, “The students should dream big and work hard to achieve those dreams.” Kulkarni announced a donation of Rs 1 lakh to the foundation.
The event concluded with a speech by H G Bhosale. The directors of Pune Press Owners Association: Datye, President, Suresh Kavde, vice-president, Rahul Marulkar, secretary, Ravi Joshi and Deepak Dhole Patil, Jyoti Rathod, past president, were present at the event.
