Ricoh organises pre-drupa networking meet for printers in Delhi
Ricoh India organised an altruistic pre-drupa networking meet for the printers in Delhi on 9 April.

This is part of the company’s initiative to initiate discussions among the printers in four cities of India, namely, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai.
The Delhi-NCR meet was attended by around 30 leading printers.
Tetsuya Takano, managing director, Ricoh India, in his inaugural speech said: “drupa is only a month away and many Indian printers are contemplating to attend the mega exhibition. This initiative from Ricoh is to give you a walk-through about what to expect from the show, along with the aim to help you network with your peers.”
Avijit Mukherjee, chief operating officer, Ricoh India addressed the issues faced by the printers while preparing for the visit and further welcoming the guests for three special days planned by Ricoh, he added , “During drupa, there are three special days hosted by Ricoh which is of interest to the printers from Asia. On 4 and 8 April, Ricoh is hosting the Asia Pacific Day, and on 7 April is the India Day.”
Mukherjee also talked about how various associations could help printers in making the journey more fruitful and a well-planned one. As an offline arrangement Ricoh India has tied-up with Matrix, a mobile and data solutions provider, for special CUG (closed user group) connections for printers who wish to remain connected with their peers during the visit.
Rajan Kuthari, president, All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), one of the guests at the event, added that "AIFMP is also hosting an India Day on 13 April. In drupa 2008 around 15% of the totals 3,91,000 visitors were from Asia. Around 29 Indian exhibitors are currently being reflected on drupa 2012’s official website"
