Robatech readies high-speed recipe for gluing solutions

The Swiss company Robatech which specialises in gluing application technology is offering innovative, sustainable, high speed gluing solutions for the Indian print industry at Hall 14 / B 70.

Kishore Butani of Robatech India said, "Robatech offers comprehensive systems for processing and applying thermoplastic hotmelt, reactive hotmelt, cold glue or any softening agent as used in the printing and graphic industries. Dispensing solutions include mainly pre-melting and coating for bookbinding (hardcover and soft cover), web printing, mailing and finishing and envelope production.

Robatech offers PUR book binding solutions in India in partnership with Welbound Worldwide.
 
Interestingly enough, two top print firms Pragati Offset and Replika confirmed their move to PUR installed by the trio of Henkel, Robatech and Welbound Worldwide.
 
In September 2011, Pragati Offset started doing book binding with PUR with the installation of RobaPur 4 MOD system on its Kolbus.  Delhi-based book printer
 
Replika Press confirmed its move to PUR with the RobaPur 20 MOD PUR system from Robatech on its Wohlenberg City e-6000 binder which will be upgraded to PUR by Welbound Worldwide.

"Soon all soft cover books at Replika will be threadless and move to PUR. Replika has chosen the high-end, high capacity PUR system MOD 20 from Robatech for this upgrade. This would enable the binding of even thick books at high speed," said Butani of Robatech.
