Roland DG adds LEF-300 to VersaUV series

Roland DG was represented by Indian distributor Apsom Infotex at Media Expo, Mumbai. The company had showcased the VersaUV LEF-300 and the Soljet EJ-640 at the stall.

Speaking to PrintWeek India, Sarah Lyons, marketing manager at Roland DG (UK), said, “The VersaUV LEF -300 is the star product at the stall, which has been added to its VersaUV series of UV-LED flatbed inkjet printers. The show has been good for us and the visitors are interested in LEF-300 machine.”
 
The main principals for Apsom are Roland DG and Colorjet in India. Apsom Infotex has a national distribution infrastructure across India. The LEF-300 is equipped with the new Roland Versa Works Dual RIP software which includes features to simplify the print process and optimise the results. For the maximum efficiency of cost and time, customers have an option of choosing 500cc ink cartridges.
 
Jerry Davies, President at Roland DG-EMEA said, “The trend for highly personalised items is growing and customers are using Roland’s VersaUV LEF printers to provide on-demand custom printing services for a range of personalised products through e-commerce sites and retail kiosks. The launch of the LEF-300 model brings the VersaUV series into the mass production environment with a number of features to facilitate the customisation and decoration of items in high volumes.”
 
The LEF-300 can print on substrates like acrylic, wood, boards, plastic, metal, glass plus fabrics and soft materials such as leather and eco-leather. With four print heads and two UV-LED lamps, the LEF-300 enables bi-directional printing.
