Roland to unveil TrueVIS VG-640/540 at Media Expo 2016

As with previous years, Roland DG, supported by its distributor for India, Apsom Infotex, will organise live demos and showcase applications for businesses of all sizes and requirements at Media Expo Delhi, which begins on 29 September 2016.

With its first unveiling in India, the main draw will be the TrueVIS VG-640/540, the latest generation of advanced wide-format, eco-solvent print-and-cut technology released under the TrueVIS brand name. The unveiling on the first day of the show will give the visitors the chance for an exclusive first look at Roland DG’s latest series, and more importantly, the quality of print it produces. With regular live ‘product feature tours’ from Rob Goleniowski, sales support manager for Roland DG UK; it’s sure to attract a crowd.

For use with the VG Series, the company has also launched a proprietary new ink, TrueVIS INK, an advance in eco-solvent technology, offering exceptional dual CMYK or 7 colour (CMYKLcLmLk) output in 500cc pouches.

Darren Penny, head of sales, Roland DG, UK said, “The combination of the new FlexFire technology and new TrueVIS INK – engineered specifically for the printheads – delivers stunning fine details and vibrant colours at a production speed of 10.6m2 per hour on vinyl and up to 34.8m2 per hour on banner in dual CMYK ink configuration.”
