Romancing Print to be hosted in Hissar for the first time
All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) is all set to organise their annual event ‘Romancing Print’ with the theme of ‘21st Century Printing’ on 24-25 February, 2015 in Hissar (165 kms from Delhi). This year’s show will be organised in collaboration with the Department of Printing Technology, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUS&T) at Hisar in Haryana. Wang Yongsheng, vice chancellor, BIGC (Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication); Sidney Bobb, chairman, BAPC(British Association for Print & Communication) and chairman, ACCC (Association of Colour Communication Centres); Yen Chen, president, China Print Academy; Håvard Grjotheim, CEO, 07 Media; Beatrice Klause, secretary general, Intergraf have all confirmed their participation for the two day event to educate the Indian printers about the latest developments in print and to prepare them for the future challenges.
Apart from these esteemed speakers, two of the biggest name in print Frank Romano, RIT Professor Emeritus and Benny Landa has consented to submit research papers about ‘21st Century Printing’.
The event apart from presentations by print experts from India like Dr Anayath Rajendrakumar will also include research paper presentations by the faculty members, researchers, industry experts and students across the nation and printing of all the conference proceedings and research papers in the shape of a book to be released at the time of conference.
Chopra is confident that "More than 550 participants are expected to attend the show from across the country."
