K M Roy releases book on offset printing
The book titled ‘Solutions to problems offset printing faces,’ penned by Sanil M V of Purandara Sales Agencies, was released by K M Roy, the chief guest at the annual general body meeting of Kerala Master Printers’ Association (KMPA) at Grand Hotel, Ernakulam.

The book is written in Malayalam for the purpose of reaching the Kerala printing community. As a beginning, the author has not included elaborately about all the technical problems the offset printing is facing. But he has tried to share his knowledge on how to improve the quality of offset printing by adopting certain remedial steps.
The preface of the book speaks of printing being a field which is changing rapidly.
Although it has been a tough task to explain clearly in Malayalam, as a lot of technological jargons in English have no apt Malayalam words, the author has used Malayalm words as much as possible. He has done a comprehensive research on the subject to understand the latest technology in printing and to translate it into Malayalam. The author’s success is that he has used a simple style to convey a very complicated subject.
The author has also briefly explained about the evolution of printing and different types of printing methods in the book. Being an expert in the printing field, he has gives essential tips to maintain an offset printing machine in order to improve quality of printing.
While releasing the book, Roy said the book will be a valueable contribution to the printing industry.
The book is printed at Anaswara Offset and the cover of the book has been designed by Deepu K R and published and distributed by Purandara Sales Agencies, Kochi.
